So my Facebook app on my BlackBerry demanded an upgrade, and I did it. Today it messaged me all these notifications about old messages, and like I always do, I deleted them. It was random old ones from November on, and not every single one I’d received. And, like always, I could either delete or cancel because the app only notifies me.
Except I go on Facebook on my computer and the notifications I’d deleted? Also deleted the original messages. Like, some important messages that I’m sentimental about (even though they were from Him and I’m trying to get over Him and some of them are painful and I was way to honest in my pathetic-ness and how-much-you-hurt-me-ness), and they’re gone forever because that fucking app doesn’t realize that it’s a notification system and it has no right to delete my letters. And I can’t get them back.
I’m just irritated because I’m a sentimental fuck, and I was given no notice this would happen, and because I spiked my soy chocolate milk with vodka and I’m a little drunk right now.
